What’s with all the name calling?
Whether The United States likes t or not, Donald Trump is their commander in chief and will be for at least the next four years. While you would think that would afford the man a little respect in the eyes of The American People, the new position has only made him everyone’s punching bad day after day.
In fact, since taking office in January, Donald Trump has been criticized a countless number of times and while on some occasions people’s criticisms are valid, other times they are simply political cheap shots and only serve to further the resistance narrative of the leftists.
With that being said, the resistance is apparently only growing after a democratic school board Chairman claimed that students would not be required to stand for The Pledge of Allegiance or National Anthem and followed that up by calling Donald Trump an idiot.
All of this was laid out in a tweet from Prince William County School Board Chairmen, Ryan Sawyers, who also stated that,” students at PWCS were safe. It wasn’t followed up on what they were safe from, but it seems to have something to do with being forced to stand for the pledge and the recent string of National Anthem protests.
While it is entirely possible to see how minorities would feel victimized in today’s political climate, especially if they do not stand for the national anthem or pledge of allegiance during school activities, but even if they were forced to on one occasion or another the problem would be solved instantly with a talk to the school.
That doesn’t mean that forcing someone to stand for the anthem is right in any way, but its a problem that can be quickly solved. Schools have procedures that they have to follow. Procedures that make that kind of bullying and racism wrong and worthy of some form of punishment for the guilty party.
Unfortunately for everyone, Sawyers choose to instead induce panic and fuel resentment from their students and the community with his reckless tweets. Not only does this tweet bring politics where they don’t belong, in public schools, they brainwash young kids into resenting government officials for no reason.
What are your thoughts? Do you believe that you would face some kind of punishment for refusing to sit during The National Anthem at school? Have you been in the past? Let us know in the comments below
