Positive or negative, everyone has an opinion of Donald Trump.
Unfortunately for those in The United States that would rather focus on the issues facing our country and trying to work together to make America great again, they often play second fiddle to whatever scandal the Trump Administration finds itself in week after week.
Whether it be The Trump Administration’s possible ties to Russia that allegedly helped him become President Of The United States, or the current war between Trump and The NFL, it seems like the media has some kind of sick fetish with following The President’s every move and criticizing it.
Of course that would be fine if half the things that the media chose to focus on actually mattered, but when journalists everywhere start trying to dig up any dirt from the president’s past, that’s when you really start to wonder about what the media’s true intention is here.
For example, The Daily Beast decided to go through some of Donald Trump’s old interviews on The Howard Stern Show on Sirius Radio and found an conversation between Trump and Stern where Trump was talking about an elderly man that was dying right in front of him.
I said, ‘Oh my God, that’s disgusting,’ and I turned away. Trump told Stern and his crew when asked about a pricy party at his Mar-a-lago resort in Florida , “I couldn’t—you know, he was right in front of me, and I turned away. I didn’t want to touch him.
Although the words do seem a little callus to the casual observer, it is worth noting that Trump was talking to Stern about his fear of blood and that’s how the topic arose of the elderly man that got injured at the party. Again, some might see the move as a little cruel, but fear of blood is actually a real thing that many people are afflicted with.
According to a quick google search about blood phobias, “hemophobia or BE: haemophobia) is the extreme and irrational fear of blood, a type of specific phobia. Severe cases of this fear can cause physical reactions that are uncommon in most other fears, specifically vasovagal syncope”
He’s bleeding all over the place, I felt terrible. Donald Trump continued on with his story on The Howard Stern show,”You know, beautiful marble floor, didn’t look like it. It changed color. Became very red. And you have this poor guy, eighty years old, laying on the floor unconscious, and all the rich people are turning away. ‘Oh my God! This is terrible! This is disgusting!’ And you know, they’re turning away. Nobody wants to help the guy. His wife is screaming—she’s sitting right next to him, and she’s screaming.”
What’s interesting here is that the media will now try once again to paint Trump as this uncaring and mean individual, when he is actually afflicted with a severe phobia that probably affects his every day life. Of course no one is going to report on that part of it, especially since it would paint Trump in a more sympathetic light.
People will probably also point to Trump talking about how the blood of the dying man stained the marble floor as him being callus and out of touch with everyday people, but who is to say what kind of effect that experience has had on him and if those disturbing details still haunts him to this day!
